No. Private keys never leave your wallet extension. HideMyTx only requests wallet signatures for key derivation (PrivacyCash and RAILGUN) and transaction signing.

Why is the RAILGUN engine taking a long time to load?
On first connect, the RAILGUN engine downloads WASM cryptographic libraries and scans the blockchain for your private transaction history. This can take 30–120 seconds depending on your connection speed and how many blocks need to be scanned. Subsequent sessions are faster.If loading stalls, try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, use the Deep Resync tool in the Shielded Send advanced panel.

A pending balance means your shielded deposit has been detected on-chain but has not yet accumulated enough block confirmations for RAILGUN to consider it fully spendable. Wait a few minutes and the balance will move from Pending to Available.
